Key Modules / What you will learn
Typical modules include:
Fundamentals of Accounting (terms, concepts, double entry)
Introduction to TallyPrime: installation, company creation, features & configuration
Chart of Accounts, Ledgers, Groups, Stock‑Items, Units of Measure
Recording accounting transactions: receipts, payments, purchase/sales, journal entries
Goods & Services Tax (GST) basics in Tally: recording GST transactions, input tax credit etc
Banking features: cheque printing, bank reconciliation, deposit slips etc.
Generating Financial Statements & MIS reports: Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash‑Flow etc.
Data security, company data management: backups, user roles etc.
Inventory management basics: stock items, stock groups etc
What this level prepares you for
Entry‑level roles such as Tally operator, data‑entry accounting, small business bookkeeping.
Understanding of business accounting software and basic tax/GST compliance.
A foundation for moving into more advanced modules (inventory, compliance, multi‑entity etc).
Advanced / Professional Level Course: Sometimes called “Tally Professional”, “Advanced Tally Prime”, or “Tally Advanced Accounting & Taxation”.
Eligibility

Multi‑currency transactions: handling foreign currency, exchange rates, gain/loss etc.
Interest calculation, job‑work/manufacturing processes, cost/job costing.
Advanced banking: e‑payments, post‑dated cheques, etc.
Inventory & costing: multiple godowns, batch/expiry tracking, Bills of Materials (BOM), order processing.
Taxation & compliance: detailed GST (including e‑Invoicing, e‑Way bills), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), TCS (Tax Collected at Source).
Payroll & income tax: payroll masters, attendance, statutory filings, employee tax etc.
Customization & reporting: advanced MIS, modules for business data management, import/export, ODBC, etc.
What this level prepares you for
Specialist accounting roles: Tax/accounts executive, payroll manager, inventory control, compliance officer.
Ability to handle medium/large companies with multiple godowns, multi‑currency, advanced tax/finance workflows.
Good preparation for working with Chartered Accountants, or in firms/companies needing advanced Tally skills.
